Salisbury Plastic Surgery, a premier medical facility led by board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Deborah K. Dr. Deborah K. Ekstrom is a native of the Midwestern US and has adopted New England as her home for the past 35 years, and more recently lives part-time in Southern California.

She completed her plastic surgery residency and taught plastic surgery at the University of Massachusetts prior to entering private practice in Worcester in 1990.

Dr. Ekstrom specializes in breast surgery, body contouring, and facial rejuvenation including micro and nano-fat grafting, dermal fillers and Beauty injections.

Cutting edge radiofrequency non-surgical skin tightening of the face neck, and non-surgical arm lift (brachioplasty), thigh lift and tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) body contouring is offered using a variety of state-of-the-art techniques. Dr.Ekstrom has worked with both Mentor and Allergan implant companies as an investigator using silicone implants in reconstruction and breast lift patients and with hair regrowth research for cancer patients.

She offers “quick recovery” breast augmentation and in-office small volume liposuction creating value by eliminating hospital fees and which require no general anesthesia. Customized tummy tuck procedures are also one of her interests.

Dr. Ekstrom is also the host of the podcast, Money Loves Women. She has created the Money Loves Women media and education corporation for the modern woman in need of actionable tools and processes with information and inspiration from vetted resources that can assist women in achieving financial freedom, personal mastery, and professional success.

Dr. Ekstrom believes that the future of the world is feminine and placing more power, money, and influence into the hands of women will create a more balanced and peaceful world. Her goal is to allow women everywhere to lead extraordinary lives.

While a plastic surgery resident at the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Ekstrom went on a medical mission to Guatemala to learn cleft lip and palate surgery. Her teacher was Dr. Juris Bunkis, who, at the time, was on the plastic surgery faculty at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Bunkis is a Harvard trained, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Member of numerous prestigious organizations including the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Bunkis has published more than 40 scientific publications, abstracts and book reviews, and 17 book chapters in plastic surgery textbooks.
