Ekstrom, provides Latisse® for residents of Shrewsbury, Worcester, and neighboring communities in Massachusetts, who want to refresh their look with longer, fuller lashes.
What is Latisse®?
Latisse® is essentially a brand name for an FDA-approved medication called Bimatoprost that treats hypotrichosis, or insufficient eyelash growth. Latisse® makes your eyelashes grow naturally darker, fuller, thicker, and longer. Bimatoprost was discovered as a remedy for insufficient eyelash growth when the medication was originally marketed as prescription eye drops to treat glaucoma, and patients and doctors soon realized that its side effects included increased eyelash growth. Soon the product was redesigned for this purpose and marketed as Latisse®.
How Does Latisse® Work?
Latisse® is a liquid formula that is applied at the base of the lash line on the upper eyelid. It should not be used on the lower eyelid. Gradually, with regular applications, Latisse® promotes the natural growth of longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. In about two months you will be able to see the full benefit of Latisse® treatments. Please note that Latisse® treatment results are reversible, so once you discontinue use, eyelashes will return to their previous condition.
What are the Benefits of Latisse®?
Latisse® restores eyelash growth in patients with alopecia and those whose eyelashes have become sparse and thin over time. By augmenting the lash length, color, fullness, and thickness, the whole eye area is rejuvenated, and your face instantly looks refreshed. Latisse® gives you dark, lush eyelashes without wearing makeup or mascara! In clinical trials, 100 percent of Latisse® patients who used the medication as directed for a period of at least two months reported lengthening, thickening, or darkening of their lashes, while 80 percent of patients reported all three benefits at once!
Am I a Good Candidate for Latisse®?
You must be an adult in good health and not taking any medications that are contraindicated with Latisse® in order to be eligible for treatment. If you have any eye irritations, allergies, or skin infections in the area to be treated, you may have to delay treatment until the condition subsides. Otherwise, practically anyone may be a good candidate for Latisse®.
How Much Does Latisse® Cost in Worcester?
