How Does EndyMed™ Intensif Work?

EndyMed™ Intensif treatments are performed with a handheld device that is used on the areas you desire to see tighter, fresher skin. Micro-sized needles combine with radiofrequency (RF) energy to gently heat the deeper layer of the skin and spur the natural healing process in your skin to produce more new collagen than usual. The collagen is also encouraged to contract with EndyMed™ Intensif treatments, so you’ll see some of your tighter skin results right away. In the months following the end of your treatments, elasticity will continue to improve for long-lasting results that look and feel natural.

What is the Procedure for EndyMed™ Intensif?

Once you determine that EndyMed™ Intensif is right for you, we will help you figure out what areas you’d like to target, such as the jaw, chin, cheeks, stomach, and/or upper arms. During your treatment session, the handheld device will be directed over these locations as very tiny micro-needles puncture the skin and radiofrequency energy gently applies heat. Most patients experience little to no pain or discomfort during the process. Depending on the size and nature of areas to be treated, the process usually takes between half an hour and two hours to complete. Slight redness or tenderness is common right after your treatment but should fade within a few hours. Most patients feel fine going about their normal schedule even right after their appointment. Aftercare instructions will be provided to you in full before we begin, including avoiding sun exposure and other tips. The number of repeat treatments that you need to meet your goals varies based on your anatomy and your unique needs. Some patients achieve their results in three treatments, while others see the best results with six sessions. Usually, these sessions are spaced out by one to two weeks, so it’s convenient for you to make return visits.
