What is helium plasma energy?
Helium plasma energy is a non-reactive gas in its base state. When it is ionized and combined with radiofrequency energy, it becomes reactive and reaches a state of what scientists call plasma. How is renuvion™ performed?
Renuvion™ is performed in-office under local anesthesia. Small incisions are made in the desired treatment area and several sutures are used to elevate the skin. After the sutures are placed, J-Plasma is delivered to the treatment area. A special device is used to transfer the plasma and it immediately tightens the skin. The entire procedure takes less than an hour and provides similar results to other body lifting techniques

What is the downtime for renuvion™?
Renuvion™ is a minimally invasive skin tightening procedure. Because it is minimally invasive, the downtime is relatively small. Swelling and bruising are typical after this procedure, but they will subside in 5-7 days. Many patients are also able to return to their daily tasks and activities within 2-3 days. Pain after the procedure is minimal and can be muted with over the counter medications.

The cost of elective cosmetic procedures varies among patients. Each Renuvion™ procedure is custom-tailored to the patient’s unique needs. This factor can alter the cost of a Renuvion™ treatment. Most health insurances do not cover elective procedures, so to offset the cost we offer financing services to patients with approved credit.
